The XM28 was a riot control gas mask developed in 1968. Used by US forces tunnel rats clearing vietcong tunnels during the Vietnam conflict and also by riot control police forces.
This specific example is unissued and sports a 1969 manufacture date. Come with the carrying bag. For the life of us we cannot get the mask to fit in the bag.
The mask still has original internal packaging that needs removed before use. The rubber is like brand new and we cannot find a single issue or major wear on the mask.
