The East Germans did not produce their own gas masks. Opting to use masks from neighboring Warsaw Pact Countries such as the Soviet Union and Czechslovakia. They did however produce their own bags and other gas mask items including these LM2 bags.
Made out of a durable water resistant material. Sporting a shoulder strap and waist strap making it a very nice day bag. It's internals have 3 pouches and one smaller outside pouch.
