These jack boots are the rough pebble leather with a simple leather lining. With the unbroken chevron soles. Meant to be used by conscripts and enlisted soldier. Not officers or higher ranking officials. Can be worn for service uniforms and parade uniforms.

These boots have been in storage for a long time and are being sold as Used/Requires maintenance. I highly recommend cleaning and polishing these boots before use. They will have some dirt and some storage creases on them. But no leather rot or damage has been found.

Here is a simple sizing guide as the listed sizes are in the original DDR markings.

Got my order yesterday 01/23/2025, i ordered a size 28.5 unfortunately I'll have to have a cobbler make the boots roomier for a 10.5w shoe size, that's not on covey surplus that's on me, but I will say the boots are in amazing shape and took a couple coats of leather care to shine bright, if they had larger sizes instock I would buy them in a heart beat I absolutely love these boots. 10/10 would buy again without hesitation

Boots came as described- dusty, dry, used, but with no damage to them at all. One rubdown with mink oil and they look and feel brand new, and since they’re used, they’re already somewhat broken in, which is nice, since breaking in these boots can be an awful process. As I said, these are the best prices I’ve seen NVA jackboots go for anywhere on the internet. Shipping was quick and secure.
